Quotes

A.Rahane (Man of the Match) - 'It was a really good pitch to bat on though it slowed down as the ball got older. I enjoyed batting on the pitch and was able to play my shots. We just wanted to back ourselves after getting a good platform at the 13-14 over mark. We just decided to go after the bowler with wickets in hand. So many power-hitters in the team and I can play without pressure.'

Steve Smith - 'It was an outstanding performance by the guys first with the bat and then with the ball. It was a perfect game though the toss didn't go our way. The batters did such a good job that it was easier for the bowlers. However, credit to the bowlers too as they stuck to their plans to do a good job. We are encouraging the talents to come up and they are doing their roles well. We are peaking at the right time which is a good sign.'

Kevin Pietersen: I got the toss wrong. I should have batted first. It got slower in the second innings. We tried lot of things but it isn't going as per what we planned. We have no one to blame. We have few exciting youngsters in the squad who we can have a look for next season.
