As New Zealand are struggling to keep wickets in hand and draw the first test match at Kanpur, Jadeja dealt a huge setback as he dismissed the Kiwi captain who looked comfortable on the crease, having already faced 111 balls for his 24-run knock.

New Zealand have a mammoth task of chasing down a total of 284 runs on the final day. Kane Williamson along with Tom Latham stitched a partnership of 46 runs off 117 balls, taking the match towards a draw.
