WATCH: Jadeja Removes Williamson; Starts Celebrating Before Umpire's Decision

As New Zealand are struggling to keep wickets in hand and draw the first test match at Kanpur, Jadeja dealt a huge setback as he dismissed the Kiwi captain who looked comfortable on the crease, having already faced 111 balls for his 24-run knock. 

New Zealand have a mammoth task of chasing down a total of 284 runs on the final day. Kane Williamson along with Tom Latham stitched a partnership of 46 runs off 117 balls, taking the match towards a draw. 

On the 1st delivery of 70th over, Jadeja pitched the delivery short of length and a quick one. The Kiwi captain went back in his crease to defend the ball but the ball stayed low and caught him on his pad, right in front of the middle & off stump. 

As soon as the ball struck Williamson's pad, Jadeja ran ahead in celebration without appealing or waiting for the umpire. The decision seemed easy and Jadeja was certain that the batter was out. Eventually, the umpire also raised his finger, adjudging the batter out.

Meanwhile, New Zealand are struggling at the moment with 3 wickets in hand, requiring another 146 runs. Indians on the other hand require 3 wickets in 20 overs to win the first match of the 2-match series.
