English Pacer Ollie Robinson Named In Central Contracts List For The First Time
England pacer Ollie Robinson was named in the central contracts list for the first time. Apart from him, batter Dawid Malan and left-arm spinner Jack Leach have received contracts under a revamped system for the first time. All-rounder Liam Livingstone is awarded an increment contract for the first time, said the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Friday.
As per the new system, 20 annual contracts have been awarded in a 'single' contract list instead of the separate red-ball and white-ball contracts running since 2016. The contracts panel included Managing Director of Men's England Cricket, Ashley Giles and Head Coach, Chris Silverwood, also awarded four England Increment Contracts and three England Pace Bowling Development Contracts.
