U19 World Cup: England and Afghanistan marched into the Super Six stage of the ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup with flawless group-stage records, after emphatic wins over Scotland and Tanzania, respectively, on Wednesday.

Scotland got off to a good start when they removed Ben Dawkins early, but after that, it was all England as both Joseph Moores and Ben Mayes put together a remarkable partnership of 188 runs.

Joseph Moores scored a solid 81 from 65 balls before falling to Scottish bowler Ross MacDonald. Thomas Knight Named As Scotland’s Captain For 2026 Men’s U19 World Cup

U19 World Cup: Thomas Knight has been appointed as Scotland’s captain for the 2026 International Cricket Council (ICC) Men’s Under-19 World Cup, to be held in Namibia and Zimbabwe from January 15 to February 6. In a statement, Cricket Scotland said that following the ICC Europe Qualifier in August, Shlok Thaker and Shreyas Tekale have been added to the squad for the biannual showpiece event.
