Ireland Appoints Former Australian Spinner Nathan Hauritz As Spin Bowling Coach
Former Australia spinner Nathan Hauritz on Friday was appointed as Ireland's new spin bowling coach, said Cricket Ireland in a statement. It also said that Hauritz's role with Ireland will involve working with the senior men's and women's squads, as well as the pathway system.
"The opportunity was too good to not even think about. I love discussing spin bowling from all facets, and to be able to do that in an international environment while travelling the world, how could you not want to do it. My particular interest as a coach is the tactical and mental side of spin bowling," said Hauritz on his appointment.
