In the concluded 42nd match of the Big Bash League between Sydney Sixers and Perth Scorchers, Sixers captain Daniel Hughes won the toss & opted to bat first. 38-year old Daniel Christian came in to bat in the 16th over for Sydney Sixers and smacked 35 runs off 20 balls with 4 fours & 1 six.
During this explosive inning, Dan Christian received an above-waist full toss, which he dispatched for a six. The all-rounder launched the high full toss towards deep midwicket.
The ball was muscled as such that it landed over the deep mid-wicket roof. The umpire immediately gave it a no-ball due to the height of the full toss. Andrew Tye was expensive in his spell as he gave away 39 runs in his 4 overs.
