Kochi, Feb 28, Bengaluru Torpedoes beat Calicut Heroes 15-11, 15-11, 13-15, 10-15, 15-14 in the second season of the Prime Volleyball League (PVL) at the Regional Sports Centre in Kochi on Tuesday.
Despite the defeat, Calicut Heroes confirmed a sport in the semifinals.
Sandoval came to life straightaway, putting pressure on the Torpedoes with his powerful spikes. When Jerome Vinith started sending thunderous serves, Bengaluru buckled.
