New Delhi, 29th September (CRICKETNMORE): Much awaited Australia - Pakistan 2014 series in UAE will start from Thursday, 5th October 2014 with a T20 match to be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. The series consist of 1 T20, 3 ODI & 2 Test matches. Both the sides have announced their teams for the series.

For Pakistan, Younis Khan has been dropped from Pakistan's ODI squad whereas star spinner aeed Ajmal is reportedly out of Australia series due to suspension of illegal bowling action. Shaheed Afridi has been given the job to captain T20 side.

For Australia, Shane Watson has been ruled out of the series due to ankle injury rehabilitation.
