May 3 (CRICKETNMORE) - West Indies were trailing by 41 runs at stumps on day three of the second Test against Pakistan on Wednesday at Kensington Oval. After wrapping up Pakistan for 393 in their first innings, the home side finished the third day on 40/1.

Earlier, Pakistan added 221 valuable runs to their overnight score of 172/3 to took a first-innings lead of 81. West Indies bowlers conceded 44 extras at Kensington Oval. Azhar Ali top-scored for Pakistan with 105 for his 13th Test century. Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq, playing in his penultimate test, went for the score of 99, second time in the series.

Fast bowler Shannon Gabriel topped the hosts’ bowling with four for 81 while captain and seamer Jason Holder (3-42) and leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo (3-116) finished with three wickets apiece
