After losing the toss and batting first, Delhi posted a total of 452. In reply, Tamil Nadu, first carried by Baba Aparjith's 117. Then, Shahrukh Khan, batting at #7 smacked a fast century to decrease the gap between the two teams' scores.
Shahrukh Khan smacked his century off just 89 balls with 13 fours and 5 sixes, as he thrashed the bowlers all-around. The 26-year old made his name through the Indian Premier League and was bought at a hefty price of 9 crores in the IPL 2022 with his former franchise, Punjab Kings.
Talking about the match, Delhi posted 452 with centuries from Yash Dhull (113) and Lalit Yadav (177), while Jonty Sidhu contributed with his 71. For Tamil Nadu, M Mohammed picked up 4 wickets, while Sandeep Warrier & Baba Aparajith picked two wickets each and R Sai Kishore & Vijay Shankar managed a scalp each.
