Team India's fast bowler Mohammad Siraj made his debut in the ongoing County Championship in England. Playing for Warwickshire against Somerset, Siraj displayed an excellent bowling performance and grabbed a 5-fer in the first innings. On the Edgbaston ground, Siraj wreaked havoc on the opposition team and in the 24 overs he bowled, conceded 82 runs while picking up 5 wickets.

The bowler's performance with the red Duke ball in the match goes on to prove that the bowler is in great form. The main highlight of Siraj's spell was his dismissal of Pakistani opener Imam-ul-Haq, where Siraj got the better of the batter with a bowl pitched outside the off stump.

This was the opening wicket of Somerset's inning as well. Often criticized for lack of discipline in line & length in test cricket, Siraj has once again proved his abilities, in England. It is noteworthy that the bowler also performed excellently in the 5-match test series for team India against England.
