Harmanpreet set for 200 T20I appearances.

India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur is on the cusp of a historic moment as she stands one cap away from becoming the first-ever player in either men's or women's cricket to register 200 T20 International appearances.

The seasoned batter currently has 196 T20 International caps and requires only four more matches to achieve the unprecedented record. What makes the achievement all the more special is that Harmanpreet made her T20I debut during the inaugural Women's T20 World Cup in England in 2009. Seventeen years later, she could reach this incredible landmark in the same country where her T20 International journey began.

She joins an esteemed group alongside Ellyse Perry, Chamari Athapaththu, Marizanne Kapp, Stafanie Taylor, Sophie Devine, and Suzie Bates.

With a strong World Cup campaign under her belt, she could extend her already remarkable advantage in this department further and get closer to the 200-wicket landmark.
