Aug.13 (CRICKETNMORE) - England's fast bowler James Anderson became the first to claim 100 Test wickets at Lord’s Cricket Ground on Sunday as his team beat India on the fourth day of the second Test.

Anderson reached the milestone when he removed India openers Murali Vijay and KL Rahul on his way to figures of two wickets for eight runs in five overs.

Sri Lanka’s off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan is the only other bowler with more than a 100 Test wickets at a single venue, and has taken 166 wickets at SSC, Colombo; 117 at Asgiriya Stadium, Kandy; and 111 at Galle International Stadium.

Rangana Herath trails behind Anderson, short of just a single wicket, with 99 scalps at Galle International Stadium.
