Jaipur, Feb 15 (CRICKETNMORE):  A day after Jaipur's Sawai Mansingh Stadium was officially confirmed as one of the venues for the 2018 Indian Premier League (IPL), Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) Secretary Rajendra Nandu said that the stadium is all set to host the home matches of the Rajasthan Royals.

While all major preparations have been made, the remaining ones, which are quite minor, will be done in the next 3-4 days, Nandu told IANS.

"All preparations have been done. The BCCI officials have been touring the stadium at regular intervals to record the progress of the ongoing work in the stadium. They are satisfied with the kind of work going on," he said.

The dates fixed for IPL matches in Jaipur are April 11, 18, 22 and 29 and May 8 and 11.

Australian leg spin legend Shane Warne, who led the Royals to the title in the inaugural edition in 2008, has recently confirmed that he will return to the IPL, this time as the team mentor.

Recently, the BCCI had revoked the four-year ban on the Rajasthan Cricket Association. Earlier, it had suspended the association after former IPL Chief Lalit Modi faced corruption charges and the matter went to court.
