18th October, Rajkot (CRICKETNMORE) : South Africa beat India by 18 runs in the third ODI of their five-match series at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, here on Sunday.

South Africa Innings - Left-handed opening batsman Quinton de Kock (103) and Faf du Plessis (60) helped South Africa to post 270/7 in 50 overs. de Kock scored his seventh ODI century, fourth against India.

For India, medium pacer Mohit Sharma picked two wickets, while off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, leg-spinner Amit Mishra and left-arm spinner Axar Patel took one wicket each.


India Innings: South African bowlers led by M Morkel (4/39) snatched the victory from India. Indian team managed to score 252/6 in 50 overs. For the home team, Virat Kohli scored 77, Rohit Sharma - 65 and skipper MS Dhoni - 47. 


Series Result: South Africa is leading the series 2-1
