England’s men’s cricket team is set to tour Netherlands next year for a three-match ODI series. The Dutch side was scheduled to host the Three Lions in May earlier this year. However, the tour was postponed all thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, the three-match series is set to take place in June 2022 with all the matches taking place at the VRA Cricket Ground in Amstelveen.

Notably, the matches will form part of the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. Hence, stakes are quite significant in the series. With England being the defending ODI World Cup champions, they are definite favourites for this series. Moreover, they are arguably the strongest white-ball teams going around with big guns like Jos Buttler, Jason Roy, and Joe Root in ranks.

However, with the cricket calendar being busy and quarantine protocols enforced, it remains to be seen how England’s ODI squad will look like against the Netherlands. It has to be noted that these two sides have locked horns in three ODIs so far and England emerged victorious every time. However, the story is entirely different as far as the shortest international format.
