Leeds, Sep 5 (IANS) England all-rounder Tim Bresnan has been ruled out of the only Twenty20 International against India to be held at Edgbaston in Birmingham Sunday.

England and Wales Cricket Board's (ECB) twitter handle Friday stated that he is suffering from a shoulder strain.

".@timbresnan has been ruled out of the NatWest IT20 against India on Sunday with a right shoulder strain #EngvInd," tweeted ECB.

The 29-year-old was recalled to the English squad since he last featured in their World T20 loss to the Netherlands in Bangladesh in March.
