Harare, Sep 1 (IANS) Australian captain Michael Clarke will return home Monday after aggravating his left hamstring during Sunday's One-Day International against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club.

Australian Team Physiotherapist David Beakley said: "Michael aggravated his left hamstring while batting during the ODI against Zimbabwe today and will not be able to take any further part in the tri-series."

Clarke will undergo scans in Sydney.

"Michael will return to Sydney on Tuesday to undergo scans and further assessment to determine the full extent of the injury," said Beakley.
