Sydney Sixers, on the back of Daniel Christian and Daniel Hughes power-hitting, sets up a target of 178 against Adelaide Strikers in the 11th match of Big Bash League(BBL) on Sunday.

Strikers captain Alex Carey won the toss and opted to field first. His decision turned out to be successful as the Sixers were not able to score quick runs. Sydney was 58/3 at the start of the 12th over before a storm named Daniel Christian arrived at the crease.

Christian smacked the second-fastest fifty of BBL history in 15 balls with the help of five sixes and four fours. After a 16-ball-cameo from Christian, Sixers' captain Daniel Hughes continued to the momentum and stayed till the end to take the team to a competitive total. Hughes scored 46 runs off 41 balls. 

For Strikers, Daniel Worral picked up two wickets and conceded just 12 runs in his four overs.
