14th August (CRICKETNMORE) - Ravichandaran Ashwin once again played an instrumental role in India's victory over West Indies in the thrid test at the Darren Sammy National Cricket stadium here on Saturday. The victory helped India to clinch series. Ashwin scored a brilliant century in India's first innings at a time when the team was struggling for runs on board. He won the Man of the match award for his allround performance. During the presentation ceremony, he shared his feelings:

"I am not sure how many Man of the Match awards I have won but quite sure about the Man of the Series. When we ended the day 1 on 230, we knew we had a great chance in this game. It looked like a slow wicket from the outside but there was enough. We were bowling good lines and it paid off in a heap," Ashwin Said.

"We have a great comradery in the team. Nobody is afraid of speaking their mind in this team and that is being done by the top team management", he added.
