Jan. 12 (CRICKETNMORE) - South Africa vetearn Hashim Amla achieved another milestone as he becomes the eighth batsmen in the world to score a century in his 100th test match. He reached this milestone in the third test against Sri Lanka at Johannesburg on Thursday.

He is the second South African player to achieve this feet after Graeme Smith. Ricky Ponting of Australia holds the distinction of scoring century in both the innings of his 100th test.
