March 5 (CRICKETNMORE) - Australia beat South Africa by 118 runs on the final day of the opening test at Duban on Monday. Chasing the victory target of 417, the home side was bowled out for 298 in their second innings. Mitchel Starc was awarded as the Man of the Match for his brilliant fast bowling which includes a fifer in the second innings.

Turning Point – AB DeVillies run out took the match away from the home side. His precence could have changed the course of the match but when  South African was severly in need of a partnership, he got himself stucked into a run out, after which Proteas couldn’t cope up and lost the match.
