Quotes

Man of the Match: James Faulkner: I am going to sleep well tonight and the rest of the squad as well. This was my first super over. Having got the first wicket there were 2 options, either to go for another or try to be economical. I thank the fans here in Abu Dhabi for supporting us. It is great to win today. It has been a slow journey ever since my surgery. I am slowly getting back to where I was.

Shane Watson: My heart is still pumping. It was an incredible game of cricket and to come out winning in such a close game is overwhelming. Smith is a very skilled young talent and he is calm under pressure. James Faulkner is a key component of our squad and it is good to have him back. If you have to make it to the semi finals, you have to be more on the winning side than losing.

Gautam Gambhir: Shakib told me they had more boundaries. Disappointed to be on the losing side. We deserved to be in a better position. We played better cricket and would have been in winning position in most of the games but this is T20. Someone has to be positive upfront and that was my job over the years. Hopefully we can deliver back in India.
