Brilliant allround performance by Kings XI Punjab helped them register their third successive win in the IPL 7.

Glenn Maxwell once again played an instrumental role in the victoru. Fort he third time, he fell short of the 100-run mark, but  his efforts with the bat helped Kings XI Punjab to reach 193 for six in 20 overs. Maxwell made 95 off 43 balls which included five boundaries and nine sixes. Veteran Virender Sehwag (30) for the first time in this tournament looked impressive with the bat.

In reply, Hyderabad were bowled out for 121 against some quality bowling by Punjab pacers led by Balaji.

Dhawan - "I think in the field we dropped too many catches. Especially of Maxwell. Our batting was a failure. When you drop catches and chasing big total, the batsmen have to take risk. We tried our best but it didn't go our way. We need to score big runs as individuals as well as for team."
