Johannesburg, Feb 13 Fast bowler Vernon Philander, who bowed out from international cricket in South Africa's recently concluded Test series against England, revealed that the instability within Cricket South Africa played a big role in him retiring from the game.

"As a player you get to the point where you've had enough," Philander told Arikaans weekly Rapport.
