    Despite suffering an eight-wicket loss against Punjab Kings, Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya has backed his decision to bat first, saying that they want to put themselves in difficult situations and come out of their comfort zone before the last and crucial stage of the IPL 2022 season.

    In more than 90 per cent matches played this IPL season, captains have decided to bowl first after winning the toss. However, Hardik on Tuesday diverged from the norm and decided to bat first on winning the toss.
