In the 17th over of Australia's run chase, English captain Jos Buttler alongwith other English bowlers were seemingly fumed with Matthew Wade. In a dishonest effort, Matthew Wade tried to stop Mark Wood from catching the ball.
Matthew Wade's shot on the third ball went away from him in the air. The bowler Mark Wood had an excellent chance to take a catch and dismiss the finisher. Wade tried to portray that he didn't know where the ball was. Seeing Mark Wood advancing towards him, Wade, while trying to get back to his crease did a shameful act. He tried to stop Wood by his hands and protected himself from getting dismissed.
