1985 Indian team would give this side a run for their money: Ravi Shastri

New Delhi, May 6: Ravi Shastri said that it was great to be part of the Indian teams that won the 1985 World Championship and the 2018/19 team that won the Test series in Australia. Shastri was a player in the 1985 side led by Sunil Gavaskar and was head coach when Virat Kohli's boys became the first outfit from Asia to beat Australia in their own backyard in a Test series.

"It is great to be part of those two teams, as a coach that series in Australia, is going to be very very special and hard to beat, because that team wasn't beaten in 71 years by any Asian team," Shastri said on the ‘Sony Ten Pit Stop' show.
