Sri Lanka To Host Asia Cup T20 Tournament From August 27

The 2022 edition of the Asia Cup cricket tournament, which will be a T20I competition this year, will be held in Sri Lanka from August 27 to September 11, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced on Saturday after its annual general meeting.

All five Test teams -- hosts Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh - will take part in the tournament while one more Asian side will be decided after a qualifying tournament which will be held from August 20.
