BBL: 15 Melbourne Stars Team Members Test Covid Positive
Big Bash League (BBL) side Melbourne Stars is in the midst of a massive COVID-19 crisis with seven players and eight support staff testing positive for the virus on Friday, with the team management in emergency talks with Cricket Australia (CA) "to determine the impacts to their schedule".
CA was forced to postpone the BBL game between Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Stars less than three hours before the start at the Marvel Stadium on Thursday after a Stars support staff member tested positive. But on Friday it was revealed that a total of 15 players and support staff had tested COVID-19 positive.
