Premier League Sanctions Chelsea For Breach Of Financial Reporting And Third-party Investment
The Premier League, the governing body of the professional league in England, has completed a disciplinary process with Chelsea FC in respect of historical breaches relating to Financial Reporting and Third Party Investment between 2011 and 2018, with the parties reaching two sanction agreements which have been ratified by an independent Commission.
The Premier League, in its statement, informed that in 2022, Chelsea FC’s current owners voluntarily reported to the League that they had evidence of potential breaches of Premier League Rules.
