Watch: Tim Seifert Smashes A Six Out Of Ground, Ball Goes Missing

New Zealand has some terrific cricket grounds with some scenic beauty. The boundaries aren't large and some even meet with a garden just outside the ground, like the one here in Eden Park Outer Oval, Auckland. 

In the Auckland vs Northern Knights match of Super Smash 2021, a bizarre thing happened. During the seventh over of the second innings, Knights' Tim Seifert smashed a six that went into the bushes just outside the boundary. 

The bushes and the flowers were so big that the ball went missing and the fielders had to find the ball on his own. It took a bit of time and some help from ground staff to find the ball and resume the game.

It was a low-scoring match where Auckland got bowled out for just 92 and Northern Knights chased it down in 15 overs after losing four wickets. Seifert finished the game, scoring 38 runs in 42 balls.
