PAK vs ENG 1st Test: In probably the most batter-friendly Test surface on 1st day, England batters came out all guns blazing against Pakistan in the 1st Test. After openers Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett, along with Ollie Pope scored individual tons, Harry Brook also moved towards the landmark in style.
After coming out to bat at 286/3, Harry Brook held the crease with Ollie Pope as he scored 60 runs off 58 balls till the 66th over. In the 67th over, Saud Shakeel came on to bowl his 2nd over of the match. Harry Brook took on the spinner from the 1st delivery, whacking a dragged-down short ball outside off over mid-wicket for a four.
The second delivery was a low full toss around off stump line, and Brook drove it the extra cover boundary to collect four runs. The third delivery was a half volley by Saud Shakeel as the 23-year-old smashed it down the ground to complete a hattrick of fours.
