South Africa vs India: South Africa are at 17/1 at stumps on day 1, trailing India by 213 runs in the 3rd test at Cape Town. Earlier, India scored 230 in the first innings and once again the Indian batting order failed to deliver as a unit. Captain Virat Kohli was the lone warrior for his team with his knock of 79 runs.

The way Virat played throughout the day gave the fans hope that today he'll reach his 71st test hundred, however, he was dismissed by Kagiso Rabada. Virat missed his much-awaited 71st century by mere 21 runs and the disappointment for the same could be seen on his face.

When he reached the dressing room, former vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane was seen patting the skipper's back, probably cheering him up for the wonderful knock he played despite missing out on a century.

While talking about India's first innings, none of the other batters performed except captain Virat Kohli and consequently, India was restricted to a total of less than 250 yet again. Indian bowlers have to again produce a match-winning performance to create history and win the first test series on South African soil.
