It was a doubleheader Sunday that saw Lucknow Super Giants defeating Delhi Capitals in the afternoon and Chennai Super Kings beating Sunrisers Hyderabad in the night.
LSG's win was set up by KL Rahul's 77 followed up by Mohsin Khan's four-wicket haul as they managed to defend a 196-run target by six runs. DC batters had good starts but couldn't convert as they fell short of the total in the end; Rishabh Pant was the highest scorer with 44.
CSK's win was courtesy of a record 182-run partnership between Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway for the opening wicket. Gaikwad scored 99 and Conway made 85 as CSK set up a target of 203 runs. Despite Nicholas Pooran's fighting 64 off 33 balls, SRH fell short by 13 runs as Mukesh Choudhary picked up four wickets.
