It was a doubleheader Sunday that saw Lucknow Super Giants defeating Delhi Capitals in the afternoon and Chennai Super Kings beating Sunrisers Hyderabad in the night. 

LSG's win was set up by KL Rahul's 77 followed up by Mohsin Khan's four-wicket haul as they managed to defend a 196-run target by six runs. DC batters had good starts but couldn't convert as they fell short of the total in the end; Rishabh Pant was the highest scorer with 44.

CSK's win was courtesy of a record 182-run partnership between Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway for the opening wicket. Gaikwad scored 99 and Conway made 85 as CSK set up a target of 203 runs. Despite Nicholas Pooran's fighting 64 off 33 balls, SRH fell short by 13 runs as Mukesh Choudhary picked up four wickets. 

Latest IPL 2022 Points Table 

Gujarat Titans are at the top 16 points and Lucknow Super Giants follow them with 14 points. Rajasthan Royals are at the third spot with six wins. Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore make up the 4th and 5th place with five wins each. 

Delhi Capitals continue to be at the sixth spot with eight points along with Punjab Kings at the seventh. Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings are eighth and ninth in the table with six points each. Mumbai Indians are at the bottom with one win. 

Latest Orange Cap Holder 

Jos Buttler continues to wear the orange cap as his total runs read 566. KL Rahul is second in the list with 451 runs followed by a new entrant - Abhishek Sharma, who has 308 runs.
