Sep 19 (CRICKETNMORE) The cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) has seen its growth slow down to 13.5 percent in the overall value this year, according to the Duff & Phelps IPL Brand Valuation report 2019. The league saw 18.87 percent growth in brand valuation in 2018 and in 2017 was valued at Rs 33,912.34 crore approximately.
However, there was an increase in the overall value to Rs 47,500 crore this year from Rs 41,800 crore in 2018.
Duff & Phelps the global advisor that protects, restores and maximizes value for clients, on Thursday announced findings from its IPL Brand Valuation Report 2019, a comprehensive study on brand values in the league.
