In the ongoing test match between India & New Zealand, the Kiwi batting collapsed in the second session of the 3rd day after batting beautifully throughout Day 2. However, opener Tom Latham held one end from the start and scored 95 before he was dismissed by dangerous Axar Patel.
However, before Latham got out to Axar, he was dazzled by a delivery by Ravi Ashwin when the batter was batting at 66*. Ashwin was bowling around the wicket to the left-hander and pitched the ball in between the stumps on a good length. The ball turned towards the offside after the bounce and Latham was left clueless.
The ball went on to hit his pad, followed by a loud appeal from the bowler & fielders. But the on-field umpire Nitin Menon adjudged the batter not out. What was even more surprising was Indian skipper Ajinkya Rahane not taking the review. This was a poor decision by Rahane as was revealed in the replay that the ball was going to hit on the stumps with 'impact' in line as well.
Latham out LBW at 66, given not out, review not taken by India.

Are the matches going to get decided on the basis of a team’s judgment to take (or not to) DRS? pic.twitter.com/WzDoWrTQri
