Mumbai, Aug 28 (IANS) Mobile phone manufacturer Micromax Informatics Ltd. Thursday bagged the title sponsorship rights for all of BCCI's international and domestic tournaments to be played in India for the 2014-15 season for a fee of Rs.18.01 crore.

Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) Marketing Committee met here to decide the winning bid, which Micromax clinched for a fee of Rs.18,01,80,000.

"The BCCI welcomes Micromax Informatics Ltd. as a partner for the 2014-15 season. The forthcoming series between India and the West Indies will feature some exciting cricket. There will be plenty of action in the domestic competitions as well. We have no doubt that it will be a fruitful association," BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel said.

The Indian cricket team is currently scheduled to play only one home against the West Indies in October-November. The tour will include five One-Day Internationals (ODI), one Twenty20 International and three Tests.

Last year Star Private Ltd. had bagged the title sponsorship deal.
