1st TEST, Day 2 - Galle International Stadium, Galle - South Africa declared their first inning for 485/9. Second day highlight was the superb century by JP Duminy. Coming in at No. 8, Duminy made his fourth Test hundred and his first in Asia. He was well supported by the tailenders and added 75 for the eighth wicket with Vernon Philander and 66 for the ninth with Morne Morkel.

In reply, Sri Lanka ended the day with 30 without any loss as their openers Kaushal Silva and Upul Tharanga batted sensibly.
