Feb. 20 (CRICKETNMORE) - England all-rounder Ben Stokes was bought by Rising Pune Supergiants (RPSG) for a whopping Rs 14.5 crore at the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction in Bangalure on Monday.

Already on demand after his scintillating performance with both the bat and ball during England's recent tour earlier this year, Stokes was purchased by the RPSG after close bidding.

Among others, 2016's highest paid Indian all-rounder Pawan Negi could only fetch Rs 1 crore and was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore.
