Bangladesh will be hosting New Zealand for two test matches. Both teams played the first half of the tour ahead of the World Cup 2023, which was a three-match ODI series. Now the tests will be played. The first test match will be played on Tuesday.

This game will take place at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet. This is also the first test series for both teams in the World Test Championship 2023–25 cycle, which is why it is very important for both teams to win.
