When the Asia Cup 2025 schedule was announced, the biggest talking point was the possibility of India and Pakistan clashing up to three times in the tournament. Some reports even went as far as calling it an “India vs Pakistan T20 series” with other matches happening around it.

The calculation was simple — two encounters in different group stages and potentially a third in the final.
