चैंपियंस ट्रॉफ़ी के बाद वनडे से संन्यास लेंगे मोहम्मद नबी
T20 World Cup: अफ़ग़ानिस्तान के ऑलराउंडर मोहम्मद नबी ने कहा है कि वह चैंपियंस ट्रॉफ़ी 2025 के बाद वनडे अंतर्राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट से संन्यास लेना चाहते हैं। नबी ने संयुक्त अरब अमीरात (यूएई) में बांग्लादेश के ख़िलाफ़ वनडे सीरीज़ के समापन के बाद प्लेयर ऑफ़ द सीरीज़ का अवॉर्ड लेने के दौरान अपनी योजना के बारे में बताया।
नबी ने तीसरे वनडे के बाद होम ब्रॉडकास्टर से कहा, "पिछले वर्ल्ड कप के बाद मैंने ख़ुद को रिटायर मान लिया था लेकिन फिर हमने चैंपियंस ट्रॉफ़ी के लिए क्वालिफ़ाई किया। तब मुझे महसूस हुआ कि अगर मैं यह टूर्नामेंट खेलूं तो अच्छा रहेगा।"
ऐसे क़यास लगाए जा रहे हैं कि नबी ने संन्यास के बारे में अफ़ग़ानिस्तान क्रिकेट बोर्ड (एसीबी) को बता दिया है और वह टी20 खेलना जारी रखेंगे। नबी ने इस प्रारूप में कुल 167 मैच खेले हैं और वह अफ़ग़ानिस्तान के लिए सबसे ज़्यादा वनडे खेलने वाले क्रिकेटर भी हैं। वर्तमान समय में वह आईसीसी रैंकिंग में सर्वश्रेष्ठ ऑलराउंडर भी हैं।
