The ongoing Vitality Blast 2022 in England has been entertaining the fans every day with new incidents. In a crucial South group match played on June 21st (Tuesday), Surrey defeated Somerset by 3 wickets. However, the last over was quite thrilling and dramatic, probably one of the most heart-throbbing last overs in T20 cricket history. Even though Somerset lost the match, pacer Peter Siddle emerged as a hero and almost won the match for his team. 

Peter Siddle had the responsibility to defend 9 runs off the last over and after the first 5 deliveries, it seemed like Somerset will win the contest. However, Surrey batter Conor McKerr, facing his first delivery, smacked a boundary off the last ball to register an unlikely win for his team. Siddle picked up 3 wickets in the first 5 deliveries of the last over and would have taken his team to a win if he had bowled the last ball up to the mark as well.
