न्यूजीलैंड की कप्तान सोफी डिवाइन (Sophie Devine) इस साल भारत और श्रीलंका में होने वाले 50 ओवर के वर्ल्ड कप के बाद वनडे इंटरनेशऩल क्रिकेट को अलविदा कह देंगी। लेकिन न्यूजीलैंड क्रिकेट के साथ एक अस्थिर कॉन्ट्रैक्ट के तहत टी-20 इंटरनेशनल में चयन के लिए उपलब्ध रहेंगी।

35 साल डिवाइन ने न्यूज़ीलैंड की 17-खिलाड़ियों की महिला कॉन्ट्रैक्ट लिस्ट के सामने आने से पहले यह घोषणा की, क्योंकि वह सैंट्रल कॉन्ट्रैक्ट का हिस्सा नहीं होंगी। डिवाइन वर्ल्ड कप में टीम की कप्तानी करेंगी और उसके बाद नया कप्तान चुना जाएगा।
