COVID-19: Sachin Tendulkar interacts with frontline warrior, wishes them Mother's Day
Mumbai, May 10: Sachin Tendulkar might be an idol for thousands in this country, but the legend has often spoken about the sacrifices that his mother made in helping him become one of the greatest cricketers to play the gentlemans game. And this Mothers Day, Tendulkar took time to not just speak to frontline officials who are mothers and are fighting in the war against COVID-19, but also applauded their efforts and sacrifices for the nation.

Commissioner of Police, Cochin, in-charge of maintaining lock down in the city, Deepthi Jyothish, Consultant in General Paediatrics, Birmingham, UK, Sandhya Kurup, Nodal Officer, Covid Cell, Kozhikode, Amrutha Jayakrishnan, Legal professional involved in voluntary service in UK, she co-ordinated with private laboratories and facilitated faster covid testing facilities in London. Letisha, Covid survivor, Nurse in UK working with Covid affected patients, Shini Markose, Covid Survivor, Care home worker, Israel, Sheena, Nurse in Covid Cell, Kozhikode Govt. Medical College, Bindhu Jayan, Social Activist and working with mask production for free, Mumbai, Soumya Bhushan, Journalist, Moderator for the interaction, Gowri Nambiar Sengupta, Asst. Director General-NHPC/PH, Directorate of General of Health Services, Ministry of health and Family Welfare and Anuja Jith,Staff Nurse, Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, (Covid ward).
