'We Aim To Create Opportunities For Young Players,' Says OCA Prez Ahead Of Odisha T20 League
OCA President Pankaj Lochan Mohanty: With less than a week to go for the start of the Odisha T20 League – CM Trophy, excitement is building across the state as teams prepare for the new edition of the tournament.
Six franchises, Bhubaneswar Tigers, Puri Titans, Keonjhar Miners, Rourkela Superstars, Sambalpur Warriors and Kataka Panthers, will compete for the title in the tournament scheduled to begin on September 20 and run until September 29 at the iconic Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.
Speaking ahead of the tournament, Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, President, Odisha Cricket Association (OCA), said, “The excitement around the Odisha T20 League is growing with every passing day. We are looking forward to a competitive and exciting edition of the tournament. The league is an important platform for Odisha cricket as it gives our players the opportunity to play competitive T20 cricket, perform under pressure and gain valuable experience.”

OCA President Pankaj Lochan Mohanty: The inaugural Odisha Pro T20 League 2025 came to a grand conclusion on Friday night at Barabati Stadium, with the Cuttack Panthers edging past Sambalpur Warriors by five runs in a tense final to lift the maiden trophy.
Odisha Pro T20 League To Begin On September 17 In Cuttack
President Shri Pankaj Lochan Mohanty: The inaugural edition of the Odisha Pro T20 League (OPTL) will now be held from September 17 to September 26, 2025, at the iconic Barabati Stadium, Cuttack. The announcement of the revised dates was made today by the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA). The league, featuring six franchises, will culminate with the grand finale on September 26.
