The Union Sports Minister Mansukh: The Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya felicitated the Indian Physical Disability (PD) Cricket Team on Friday for winning the PD Champions Trophy 2025 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The team defeated England in the tournament final, demonstrating exceptional skill and resilience.
The Indian PD Cricket Team, supported by the Differently Abled Cricket Council of India (DCCI) and accessibility organisation Svayam, was felicitated at the Sports Authority of India on Friday.
Mandaviya emphasised the government's commitment to supporting athletes with disabilities, quoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of inclusive sports participation.

The Indian Physical Disability Cricket: The Indian Physical Disability Cricket Team defeated England by 79 runs in a thrilling final at the FTZ Cricket Grounds, near here, to achieve a remarkable milestone by clinching the title in the PD Champions Trophy 2025. Choosing to bat, the India team posted a commanding total of 197/4 in their allotted 20 overs. The team then bowled out England for 118 to win the title.
