International Cricket Council: The Netherlands captain Scott Edwards has been elected to the ICC Men’s Cricket Committee as a representative of Associate Members of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Edwards, who has been an integral part of Dutch cricket since 2016, expressed his excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to join the prestigious committee.

"I am extremely excited and grateful to have the opportunity to join the ICC Men’s Cricket Committee," Edwards said in a statement released by Netherland Cricket on Tuesday.

"Having been in the ICC Associate Member system, and playing with and against many Full Member and Associate Member sides over the past six years, I believe I have a good understanding of the challenges Associate countries and players face.
